1. About the service

Hit the Road Dude AI (hittheroaddude.live) lets you upload a photo and generate a short AI-created video inspired by the "Hit the Road Dude" internet meme. It is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the creators of the original video, TikTok, or any other platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using it you confirm that you can form a binding agreement.

3. Photos you upload

You may only upload photos that:

• show you, your pet, or a person who has clearly given you permission to use their photo;
• do not show minors;
• do not contain nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence; and
• do not infringe anyone else’s rights, including copyright, privacy and publicity rights.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the service to:

• impersonate, harass, bully, defraud or mislead any person;
• create content that is sexual, hateful, or that depicts real people in a false and harmful way;
• attempt to bypass limits, probe or attack the service, or use automated tools to abuse it; or
• violate any law or the rules of any platform where you post the results.

5. AI-generated content

Videos are produced by AI and may be imperfect or unexpected. We do not guarantee that a result will match your expectations or look exactly like the person or pet in your photo. When you post a video publicly, we recommend labeling it as AI-generated, and you are responsible for following the rules of the platform where you post it.

Subject to these terms, you may use the videos you generate for personal, non-commercial sharing. You are responsible for the photos you submit and for how you use the results.

6. Credits and payments

Generating a video uses credits. Credits are purchased in one-time packs, there is no subscription, and credits do not expire. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

If a video fails to generate, the credits used for it are returned to your account automatically. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

7. Refunds

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

8. Storage of your files

Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours after your video is generated, and generated videos are deleted after 7 days. Please download your video before it expires. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and refuse service if we believe these terms have been broken or the service is being misused. Accounts closed for violations are not eligible for refunds.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Hit the Road Dude AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
