About Hit the Road Dude AI

What this site is

You upload one photo, and the site makes a vertical 9:16 720p video of that person or pet in the driver's seat of the white pickup truck. It takes about 5–10 minutes. You pay once for credits: packs start at $7.99 and there is no subscription.

Who runs it

Hit the Road Dude AI is run by an independent developer. It is not a company with an ad budget or a large team, and it is not affiliated with the creators of the original video, TikTok or any other platform. The meme belongs to its original creators; this is a fan-made tool that lets people make their own version.

How your photos and videos are handled

• Photos and videos are deleted within 24 hours.
• We don't sell your photos or use them to train our own models. Photos are processed by our AI providers only to generate your video and are deleted within 24 hours.
• Photos and finished videos are stored in private storage and can only be opened through time-limited links.
• You sign in with Google.
• You can ask us to delete your account data at any time by email.

Rules for photos

Only upload photos of yourself, your own pet, or people who gave you permission. Photos of celebrities, public figures and anyone under 18 are not allowed. We ask you to confirm this before every video, and we recommend labelling the result as AI-generated when you post it.

Pricing and refunds

One video uses 10 credits: Single $7.99, 3 Videos $19.99, 10 Videos $59.99. If a video fails to generate, the credits are refunded automatically. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
